ABOUT ME

Assalamualaikum and hye to all bloggers. I could finally finish this blog entry successfully with the means to you all. I feel relieved and happy when my work can be shared to all.

Let’s get acquainted? Ok my name is Nurul Hasnizan Ramali (218940). I live in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.  At this time, I was studying in University Utara Malaysia, Kedah Sintok and majored in communications and a bachelor's degree with honours. Ambition I want to be a lecturer in communications.

So with this field that I can be my way achieving such success. Now this semester I had 3 years and God willing will be in semester 4. Last year already final exam, please pray for me ok.hehe

You must want to know how the life of a student at the university?

Ok I want to tell my experience over being a student here. May be a new spirit siblings who want to get in first ok university.hehe want in UUM very happy worthwhile as a result of our efforts to reach the summit. However, at the same time a sense of fear to be independent. The fear will go away when we get friends and I feel happy here.

I want the list to UUM, pride furthermore countless look beautiful. Hehe after they register for the room key. Week-long orientation week though tiring but if the recall is a wonderful experience and memorable...

GREENHOUSE PHENOMENON

Greenhouse phenomenon is not an alien phenomenon in the country. This phenomenon occurs the effects of global warming. Greenhouses may be defined as a greenhouse made ​​of plastic which allows the cultivation of protected and controlled . Heat from sunlight penetrates the transparent structure will heat plant - and land in it . Greenhouse phenomenon is not only threaten human lives but also damage global plant - on this earth .

Among the effects of the greenhouse phenomenon is the occurrence of melting ice at the time of the change in the Arctic and the Antarctic ice . Overall, this region contains the arctic ocean , Greeanland , Baffin Island , Small Island North , and Northern Europe , Russia , Alaska , and Canada . In the middle of winter, the sun does not rise until the temperature drops to -50 degrees. In summer , the area of ​​southern sunshine 24 hours a day and cause the ice to melt and the top soil . This in turn creates a breakdown of icebergs that drift into the cooler north to south.

Some immediate measures should be provided to address this issue continues. Among the measures it deems appropriate to address the greenhouse problem is to implement sustainable agriculture. This is done to address greenhouse gas emissions . Sustainable agriculture is heavily dependent on natural ingredients using the flora and fauna found in the soil. Today's society should also take the initiative to restrict the use of CFCs or man-made chlorofluorocarbons used in appliances such as refrigerators and materials - solvents . Use of CFC indirectly increase the removal rate of ozone and thus causing the earth's temperature to rise.

In conclusion , all parties must work together to combat the deepening global issues in order to prevent more people becoming victims of human life . This concept should be expanded to consider the earth as our home . It is hoped that the authorities - the authorities take steps to protect the earth from the direct victims of human greed that is responsible.

WATER POLLUTION

Water is an important source of human life and support to the global life system. Humans need water to carry out everyday activities such as agriculture, fisheries, industry, Carrier and others. However, water is increasingly polluted due to the irresponsibility of some people. According to the Environmental Quality Act 1974, water pollution is defined as any direct or indirect changes to the physical properties, thermal, biological, radioactive or any part of the environmental release, remove, or put this waste to the detriment of its usefulness and causing a dangerous situation that endangered the health, safety and welfare of the public, or other life such as birds, wildlife, fish and aquatic life and water plants.

The main cause of water pollution is garbage from residential areas along the river, lake and sea. Removal of waste products such as waste oil, and uncontrollable bowel will cause change and the nature of water leads to contamination. For example, the Water Treatment Plant between polluted rivers caused by pig faces around the 1980's. Polluted river will flow into the sea and thus lead to pollution of the sea.

In addition, the attitude of some unscrupulous factory operators removes toxic waste into rivers or the sea also led to water contamination. This removal is considered easy because it has no disposal costs. Problems arise when the liquid chemicals released into the river untreated and contain toxic substances that pollute the river water. Studies show there are a number of developed countries include radioactive waste into drums before disposal into the sea.

As a whole, water pollution must be addressed on an urgent basis to prevent river habitat affected. All parties should take appropriate action to curb the increasingly serious water pollution. Legal action should be given to those who caused this to happen other than the individual's role in overcoming their caring river pollution.

FLASH FLOOD

Flash flood is defined as a sudden flow of current rates and area. The area prone, flash floods in the cities for example Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur. Various factors that cause flash floods occur and largely due to human activities

Urbanization causes many modernized areas. Lowland areas have been reclaimed by taking land from the hills. There are also children who filled up the river to serve building. The site activities such as this are the root cause of flooding. In the past, creeks and valleys made ​​the water flow; now the area has been filled with soil. When it rains, water will flow from the hills to the lower area and then stagnate. Eventually the water will increase and flash floods will occur.

Besides, river erosion also causes flash flooding. River erosion that often occurs due to two factors: erosion of naturally occurring human and domestic waste. Natural factors, the place when it rains heavily, the water flowed freely and eroded river banks. Finally land banks will collapse and form sediment on the river bottom. Next the river will be less. Same also with human activities like throwing domestic waste such as garbage and industrial waste into the river caused river siltation and water flow is blocked. When the heavy rain, the river has become shallow due to erosion or pollution of natural cannot cope with a lot of rain water. Eventually the water will spill over the banks and the flood is going to happen.

Basically, flash floods occurred due to human greed in the pursuit of worldly wealth alone. Therefore, as an endive we should keep our activities so that this will not happen again in the future. The governments should also play an important role in preventing these incidents so that people can live in peace and harmony as well as prevent the destruction of property and possessions.

CURRENT ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

Malaysia is a country rich in natural resources source consists of a variety of species of flora and fauna, minerals, fertile land, clean drinking water and the oldest rain forest in the world. Environmental pollution gives much harm to society and the world at present. This is no doubt because there are a lot of cases covered including ozone depletion, acid rain events, the effects of green house and much more. Such cases should not be taken lightly by all levels of society from the individual up to the world level.

The first issue we want to point out is the case of air pollution caused by open burning of waste that occurs in the Kelang, Malacca. With insight like to make Malacca a developed state in 2010, the state government decided to dispose of the waste disposal centre in the state. However, looking at measures taken by the state government is treated as an unwise move because if this happens, it will affect the people who live close to the area is. If we are aware, these discarded objects containing dangerous if not managed properly. Thus, all parties should play an important role in the realization of the state government's intention to make Malacca as a cleaner.

The second issue is about the greed of the parties involved in the theft of sand on Wetlands Park in Dengkil, Selangor. This area is a refuge for hippos and crocodiles. In fact, this was also declared as a stopover on the birds that migrate from all places. If this place be treated like this, then the ecosystem in this area will increase popular destroyed and the natural beauty found in the Wetlands. The cause of this problem is due to the high demand of sand in the area is available it. There are types of silica sand which is really needed in our neighbouring country, Singapore. Singapore needs this type of sand to make micro chips.

Authorities should take a wise step in addressing this for ensure this place remains as before without any impairment. Party hotel operators and also crops must play an important role because if they put money dollars of damage to the ecosystem , then it will have a severe impact on all pihak.Malah.mereka will even blame on this happened .

AIR POLLUTION

Air Pollution Causes and Take Control Measures

Recently, the country was hit by severe haze from combustion of oil palm plantations in Indonesia (South Sumatra and Riau). Actually this is phenomenon haze air pollution. Many of the causes of air pollution. Among them are

1. Factory smoke emissions containing the poisonous gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and nitrogen released oxide . Smoke also collared black and soot that can pollute the surrounding air.

3. Combustion of fossil fuels in thermal power generation stations. When fossil fuels are made ​​from petroleum, natural gas and coal are burned; black smoke will be released at the power station. Measures to overcome: Use of environmentally friendly alternative energy such as hydroelectric power, biomass and solar energy. Our country has been moving in this direction when some solar energy centre was built in the Gulf of Ewa, Langkawi and Tembeling Ulu Pahang.

4. Burning hay in paddy farming. To save costs, many farmers burn the rice straw after harvest. As a result, air pollution in the area as often happens in the Square Orissa and Bihar Square once.

5. Burning oil palm plantations, as was done by the owner of the farm in Sumatra and Riau recently. The result not only causes air pollution but also very severe haze events.

6. Open burning in residential areas. Although this activity does not involve a wide area, but has caused air pollution in the residential area.

Measures to overcome: the Local Authority (LA) has set specific days for transporting the solid waste in residential areas. Hopefully, this will reduce open burning done by housing residents.

GLOBAL WARMING

Global warming is the environmental conditions that increased temperatures higher than normal temperatures. Heating occurred worldwide as a result of human activities such as deforestation, manufacturing and industrial activity, motor, deforestation, and forest development and raking stones natural treasures either above or under the ground. Scientific impact of global warming is melting the snow at the North Pole getting higher, rising sea levels and shrinking acreage, land size. Material effect is the occurrence of natural disasters such as drought, flood and fire and human impact of loss of life and injury. Scientists and geographic concurred saying the main cause of global warming is that thin the ozone layer caused by gas emissions especially chlorofluorocarbons ( CFCs ) . If we are mindful and aware, 2005 is the season of the occurrence of a very active hurricane. That there were 26 incidents and 14 incidents storm tornado occurred. For the first time, the violent hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma happen in one season. The occurrence of this storm has affected not only the Americas, but also invaded China, Korea, and the coast around the North China Sea. Residents in several countries in Africa are generally well-known as a hot country to have a very large desert area has seen snow in 25 years.

In Europe, proclaimed that many deaths occur due to extreme heat in July and in Paris alone, a total of 29 people had died. Although this incident did not happen in the heat as bad as in 2003 the cause of death of about 15,000 in France and 20,000 had died in Italy. A well-known journal reported that drought conditions and hot, dry has resulted in forest fires that destroyed more than 8.5 million acres of the world and eliminate over 1 million species living on the land within 50 years. This incident has to do with global warming.

The issue of global warming is an issue the world and not just our country involved. The contribution of our country on the global warming may not be as yet, as a global contribution, we also need to perform the effort in order not to contribute to environmental heat.

TSUNAMI

Tsunami is a Japanese word meaning 'sea waves'. Tsunami is the Japanese word which means "harbour wave". In English, the tsunami wave known as tidal waves. Tsunami waves actually refer to the destructive beachfront building. Tsunamis are large waves caused by an earthquake that occurred on the seabed. Landslides, volcanic eruptions, explosions, and even the impact of cosmic material such as meteorites can also generate tsunamis. These waves move at a speed of several hundred kilometres per hour and the journey will raise and lower the water level of the sea. In the deep ocean, the tsunami wave amplitude is only a few centimetres in height or less. As the distance from peak to peak is hundreds of miles, fluctuations cannot be seen and felt by ships that sail on it and might not realize.

The earthquake is one of the main reasons that usually generate a tsunami. Tsunami can be created when the ocean floor with a sudden change of position will cause the water to agitate strong. Tectonic earthquakes are earthquakes that usually result in disability or a change in the earth's crust; when these earthquakes occur beneath the sea, the water above the deformed area from its equilibrium position. Waves are formed as the displaced water mass, which acts under the influence of gravity, attempts to regain its equilibrium. When the position of the sea floor (lift or down), a tsunami can be generated. The resulting wave to move quickly.

Currently, there are not many that can be made by those who are faced with a tsunami. On the islands of Japan, the government has built to resist the coastal embankment city of tsunami hazard, but of individuals, not much can be done except to know that they are expected to vacate the area hit by the tsunami. Residents in the coastal area that often face tsunami should also go towards the high ground in the event of an earthquake or volcanic eruption of living near a volcano. They also need to avoid going to the beach in the event of the early signs of a tsunami as the water receded suddenly. Tsunami can also hit a few times, so it is not recommended to go to the beach to see the damage after the first tsunami wave hit. This is to prevent the next tsunami hit.

HOW TO SAVE ENVIROMENT

Environment is the natural treasure of great value to this world. The environment includes living and non-living things that make up our universe balanced. Environmentally includes green plants, air, and water. Environment plays an important role to human life. This is so because the food sources available to humans are that of the environment. If contaminated environment will cause environmental conditions become uncomfortable. Environment should be kept as treasures are not only used at this time however; it also used up many hundreds of years. Therefore, there are steps that must be taken in restoring healthy environment.

In protecting the environment from degradation is by a mass media. The mass media, including print and electronic media and new media is very important in giving new thought to the man to take care of the environment. The mass media should provide more space dissemination of information related to the issues of environmental pollution, especially in television news. This causes individuals to be more sensitive to good environmental stewardship. Print media such as newspapers also are medium revealed on issues of environmental pollution as well as Internet also channel the information field.

In addition, measures to protect the environment also through environmental campaigns. Among the campaign can be done by the government Love Our River Campaign, recycling campaigns and so on. With this campaign will expose the community to preserve and protect the environment without pollution. Recycling campaign is to encourage consumers to recycle materials that can be recycled. Therefore, people will be able to cut costs and reduce environmental pollution. In environmental campaigns, activities such as planting trees and cleaning dirty areas flowers can be carried out.

In conclusion, the environmental pollution is increasing. Each individual needs to learn a lesson about the importance of protecting the environment so polluted environment can be restored and maintained better in the future. Government and non-governmental organizations should play a relevant role in restoring and preserving the environment.

Keinsafan

Malam semakin menjelma. Ibu dan ayahku kelihatan risau memikirkan kak Timah yang belum pulang ke rumah lagi. Ibu tercegat di muka pintu menunggu kat timah dengan wajah yang penuh kerisauan. Aku dari tadi senyap seribu bahasa di dalam bilik. Aku kuatir jika kak Timah tidak akan pulang lagi ke rumah. Aku bermonolog seketika “Ahh..jika aku tak berkata sedemikian kepada kakakku semua ini tidak akan berlaku”. Dengan tiba-tiba, air mataku jatuh membasahi pipi.

Aku mengimbas kembali kejadian yang berlaku pada pagi tadi. Pada pagi itu, aku ke dapur kelihatan kak Timah sedang leka memasak. Dengan wajahku yang masam, aku laung ke arahnya dengan nada suara yang tinggi kepada kak Timah “kak timah!!! Kenapa tak basuh baju ni lagi? dah tahukan aku nak pakai baju itu esok, kau ni memang lembaplah!!sebab tu ayah dan ibu tak sayang kat kau” kataku. Dengan perasaan yang sedih, kak Timah lantas berhenti memasak dan terus masuk ke dalam bilik. Selepas kejadian itu, aku keluar untuk berjumpa dengan kawanku.

Aku tergaman apabila ayah mengetuk bilikku. Aku terus bangun lalu membuka pintu, terserlah wajah tua yang penuh kerisauan “Ada apa ayah? kataku. “Ayah dan mak nak cari kakak ni, kakak belum pulang lagi. Adik nak ikut ayah tak? Kata ayahku. Aku terkejut dengan kata-kata ayah tadi. Terasa panas dadaku mengingat perkara yang berlaku petang tadi  namun, aku mengeleng kepala tanda tidak mahu pergi.

Kenderaan ayah sudah berlalu pergi. Aku mengeluh lalu baring di atas katil lantas terlelap seketika. Malam sudah menjelma pagi, aku tersedar apabila kedengaran orang sedang berbual-bual di ruang tamu. Aku menghampiri ruang tamu tersebut dengan perasaan ingin tahu lalu aku terkejut  melihat kakak bersama ayah dan mak sedang berbual-bual. Sepantas kilat, aku terus memeluk kakak dan menangis semahunya. Kak Timah membisikan sesuatu di telingaku “ kakak sudah maafkan adik” katanya. Aku tersenyum walaupun hatiku sedih mengenangkan kejadian tersebut. Sejak hari itu, hubungan aku dan kakak  menjadi semakin baik dan aku bersyukur kerana kami sekeluarga hidup bahagia.

Apakah pencetus kepada masalah pengangguran dalam kalangan siswazah?

Kadar pengganguran dalam kalangan siswazah semakin hari semakin mencapai tahap membimbangkan. Kira-kira 150,000 graduan institusi pengajian tinggi (IPT) tempatan menamatkan pengajian setiap tahun iaitu meliputi 80,000 lepasan institusi pengajian tinggi awam (IPTA) dan baki 70,000 orang dari institusi pengajian tinggi swasta (IPTS). Hal ini memberi kesan secara langsung kepada mereka dalam  proses pencarian pekerjaan sama ada sektor swasta mahupun sektor kerajaan.

Pada masa ini, ramai dalam kalangan mahasiswa terlalu memilih perkerjaan. Mereka tidak mahu dan malu melakukan pekerja yang tidak setaraf dengan kelayakan mereka sebagai contoh berkerja sebagai kerani, juru jual, dan sebagainya. Hal ini menyebabkan rata-rata dalam kalangan mahasiswa lebih rela menganggur daripada melakukan kerja tersebut.

Selain itu, pengangguran dalam kalangan mahasiswa juga berlaku disebabkan oleh pertambahan bilangan siswazah. Hal ini demikian kerana kewujudan universiti awan dan swasta seperti cendawan tumbuh selepas hujan. Dengan kewujudan universiti ini telah menyebabkan pasaran kerja pada masa ini kian terhad. Hal ini di sebabkan oleh majikan mengambil pekerja yang berkelayakan sahaja untuk mengisi kekosongan dalam syarikat mereka.

Dalam membendung pengangguran ini, pihak kerajaan perlu mencari inisiatif bagi mengatasi masalah ini.  Hal ini untuk mengelakan pembaziran sumber manusia dan ilmu yang dimiliki oleh mereka. Permasalahan ini juga perlu ditangani dengan segera untuk menjana perkembangan ekonomi negara pada masa akan datang.

HARI RAYA AIDILADHA

Di sebalik Tirai Sebuah Pengorbanan dan Kesabaran

Hari Raya Aidiladha disambut oleh seluruh umat Islam pada hari ke-10, 11, 12 dan 13 bulan Zulhijjah setiap tahun. Hari Raya Aidiladha sinonim dengan pengorbanan dan memberi makna yang amat besar dan signifikan. Perayaan ini merupakan hari umat Islam memperingati kisah pengorbanan Nabi Ibrahim a.s dalam menunaikan perintah Allah SWT dan kesabaran anaknya Nabi Ismail a.s dalam memenuhi perintah Allah SWT.

Pengorbanan merupakan perkara yang amat bernilai bagi setiap insan. Perngorbanan juga membawa erti melepaskan sesuatu yang penting, keinginan atau kesayangan demi satu matlamat seperti harta benda, masa dan tenaga. Perkara ini dapat di lihat melalui pengorbanan Nabi Ibrahim a.s dalam menunaikan perintah Allah SWT supaya menyembelih anaknya Nabi Ismail a.s. Nabi Ismail a.s merupakan zuriat tunggal dan anak kesayangan Nabi Ibrahim a.s. Namun begitu, dengan penuh keredhaan dan kepatuhan kepada Allah SWT beliau sanggup menyembelih anaknya sendiri. Pengorbanan ini menjadi titik noktah dan diabadikan melalui ibadat haji dan korban pada setiap tahun.

Kesabaran pula membawa erti sifat Istiqomah yang disertai dengan ketakwaan. Manusia yang beriman sering diuji dengan pelbagai halangan dalam mengerjakan ibadat Allah SWT namun begitu, dengan keimanan yang sentiasa tersemat didada mereka boleh bersabar dan menghadapi halangan tersebut dengan redha. Begitu juga dengan kisah Nabi Ismail a.s, beliau dengan penuh kesabaran sanggup mengorbankan diri apabila ayahnya mendapat perintah allah supaya menyembelihnya. Kesabaran yang ada pada diri beliau menunjukkan keperibadiannya yang sebenar iaitu seorang yang patuh kepada Allah SWT dan ibu bapanya.

Hari Raya Aidiadha telah menyaksikan satu pengorbanan dan kesabaran setiap insan. Dengan kepatuhan kepada Allah SWT menyebabkan manusia sanggup berkorban dan bersabar dalam melaksanakan suruhan_NYA. Pengorbanan juga menuntup kita melepaskan sesuatu demi kebaikan dan kebahagian. Sebagai umat Islam, hargailah satu pengorbanan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh keluarga, rakan dan insan yang menyanyangi kita. Kita juga perlu melakukan sesuatu dengan penuh kesabaran.

                                                                                               

APAKAH KERJAYA YANG SESUAI SELEPAS TAMAT PENGAJIAN

Terlebih dahulu saya mahu memperkenalkan diri ini, nama saya Nurul Hasnizan bt Ramali atau lebih dikenali dalam kalangan rakan-rakan Anis. Saya tinggal di Kota Bharu Kelantan. Sekarang ini saya sedang belajar di Universiti Utara Malaysia di Kedah

Kerjaya pensyarah amat sesuai dengan saya kerana saya mahu mencurahkan ilmu pengetahuan yang saya pelajari selama ini kepada orang lain. Kerjaya pensyarah amat mulia kerana dapat memberi ilmu yang berguna di samping  memberi nasihat kepada pelajar. Saya juga suka membantu kawan-kawan saya  apabila mereka mengalami masalah dalam pelajaran, hal ini menjadi titik permulaan bagi saya memilih kerjaya pensyarah kelak.

Selain itu, bidang ini juga  menjadi pilihan saya kerana saya mahu mengikuti jejak langkah abang saya, beliau juga menjadi seorang pensyarah di Matrikulasi Gopeng Perak. Beliau selalu mendorong saya untuk belajar bersungguh-sungguh agar menjadi sepertinya. Beliau merupakan idola saya untuk saya memilih bidang  ini. Saya yakin bahawa suatu hari nanti saya akan mengikut jejak langkahnya dan saya akan dapat menjadikan kehidupan keluarga saya lebih baik kelak.

Kerjaya ini akan menjadi kerjaya saya apabila tamat belajar nanti. Saya mahu membantu anak bangsa jika saya mendapat kerja ini. Saya mahu mecurahkan segala ilmu selama saya berada di universiti. Saya juga mahu membantu keluarga di kampung dan membina keluarga yang bahagia nanti dengan gaji yang saya dapat nanti. Oleh itu, pada masa ini saya akan belajar bersungguh-sungguh agar cita-cita saya mahu menjadi warga pendidik tercapai. Insya-Allah.

Nilai-nilai yang Diterapkan Konsep 1Malaysia dalam Menyatupadukan Kaum

Konsep 1Malaysia diperkenalkan oleh  Perdana Menteri , YAB Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Abdul  Razak. Konsep 1Malaysia juga bertepatan dengan slogan “Rakyat Didahulukan Percapaian Diutamakana. Dalam konsep 1Malaysia telah menerapkan lapan nilai penting  untuk menjamin perpaduan masyarakat antaranya ketabahan, rendah hati, penerimaan, kesetian, meritokrasi, pendidikan, intergriti dan budaya kecemerlangan.

Masyarakat di Malaysia mempunyai pelbagai kaum. Dengan tercetusnya konsep ini dapat meningkatkan perpaduan dalam kalangan masyarakat kerana  mereka diterapkan budaya penerimaan di antara kaum. Budaya penerimaan ini akan menjadikan masyarakat  mendapat persetujuan bersama apabila terdapat perkara yang melibatkan semua kaum. Hal ini memberi kesan positif kepada negara iaitu dari aspek politik, sosial dan ekonomi. Masyarakat di negara ini juga dapat meneruskan hidup secara aman dan harmoni tanpa melibatkan pertumpahan darah dan merugikan bangsa dan negara.

Selain itu, nilai-nilai konsep 1Malaysia juga adalah rendah diri. Sebagai seorang muslim sikap rendah diri perlu ada dalam diri mereka. Hal ini demikian sikap tersebut melambangkan jati diri seseorang terutama orang islam. Masyarakat Malaysia juga perlu mempunyai sikap rendah diri, hal ini kerana dapat menjadikan seseorang individu menghormati individu lain dan secara  tidak langsung dapat mengelakkan permusuhan. Dengan adanya nilai ini juga akan memperkukuhkan perpaduan dalam setiap bangsa dan hubungan dengan bangsa lain menjadi semakin erat.

Konsep 1Malaysia harus dipegang teguh oleh semua rakyat di negara ini. Hal ini demikian kerana  konsep ini akan membawa nilai aspirasi untuk memperkukuhkan perpaduan di negara ini. Rakyat di negara ini juga dapat menikmati bersama tanpa ada pergaduhan  dan masyarakat yang lain  tidak akan dipinggirkan untuk menikmati pembagunan dan pembelaan kerajaan. Keupayaan membina negara yang  berjaya juga berpegang kepada perkongsian nilai yang telah diterapkan.

TRANSFORMASI PENDIDIKAN NEGARA

Pengukuhan Sistem Pendidikan dengan Penglibatan Guru dan Pelajar

Perancangan Transformasi Pendidikan Malaysia telah dilancarkan oleh Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Najib  Tun Abdul Razak. Transformasi Pendidikan Negara dilaksanakan pada tahun (2013-2025) dan mempunyai tiga fasa dalam pelaksaannya. Fasa pertama dilaksanakan pada tahun (2013-2015), fasa kedua pula dilaksanakan pada (2016-2020) dan fasa ketiga adalah (2021-2025).

Dalam fasa pertama, Transformasi Pendidikan Negara (2013-2015) menekankan aspek kemahiran guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran. Kemahiran seseorang guru amat penting dalam memberikan ilmu pengetahuan kepada para pelajar. Dengan adanya transformasi ini juga memberi peluang kepada guru menjalani latihan kemahiran secara berterusan.  Kemahiran teknik pengajaran yang berkesan membolehkan seseorang pelajar mudah memahami dan berminat untuk terus mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Selain itu, Transformasi Pendidikan Negara (2013-2015) juga  memberi penekanan kepada pelajar terhadap penguasaan bahasa inggeris. Pemulihan secara menyeluruh terhadap pelajar dalam kemahiran membaca, menulis dan mengira dititikberatkan supaya mereka mendapat tempat dalam kalangan rakan mereka. Hal ini dapat menangani masalah penguasaan bahasa inggeris dan bahasa melayu dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah sama ada sekolah rendah ataupun sekolah menengah.

Transformasi pendidikan Malaysia akan mencapai tahap perubahan yang positif jika usaha-usaha yang dijalankan oleh pihak Kementerian secara menyeluruh. Akademik pelajar di setiap sekolah-sekolah juga dapat ditingkatkan jika semua pihak yang terlibat memainkan peranan mereka dengan giat.

My UniveRcity (UUM)

The Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) campus is situated in Sintok, 48 km to the north of Alor Star and 10 km to the east of Changlun, a small town situated along the North-South Highway. The 1,061 hectare campus, which was originally a tin mining area, is surrounded by beautiful scenery, lush tropical forests and mountains. In addition, two rivers flow inside the campus, the Sintok and Badak rivers, creating a most pleasant and serene environment. UUM has one of the most beautiful and modern campuses in the northern region. The RM580 million campus started its operations on 15 September 1990 and officially declared open by His Royal Highness the Royal Chancellor of UUM on 17 February 2004. The main buildings, the Sultanah Bahiyah Library, the Sultan Badlishah Mosque, the Muadzam Shah Hall, the Tan Sri Othman Hall, the Sports Complex, the University Mall, the Students Residential Halls and the University Inn. UUM ensures accommodation for all its students.
